Epsilon 1 produces precise, accurate data – quickly,cost-effectively, and with minimal operator involvementor sample preparation. It’s set up for Pd, Pt, and Rhanalysis directly from the factory, so you can getstarted straight away. And the spectrometer isdesigned for ultra-safe operations and reproduciblesample positioning. Plus, with its compact, robustdesign, all you need is a regular main connection!
Technology: XRF
The advantages of the portable XRF
Product manager Lieven Kempenaers guides us through the advantages of the portable Epsilon 1 XRF spectrometer from Malvern Panalytical. Powerful and versatile, the Epsilon 1 can analyze a wide variety of samples directly in the field. Watch the video to learn more about these samples and the Epsilon 1’s various models – from basic to more specialized versions.
Epsilon 1 Pharma, pharmaceutical catalyst analysis at the push of a button
Designed by Claisse fusion experts, the LeNeo™ from the Claisse Fluxer® brand is a compact electrical instrument for sample preparation by fusion. Designed to insure excellent analytical performance and provide operators with safe and simple operations, it is ready to use straight out of the box. With its adjustable fusion parameters, its capability to prepare glass disks for XRF analysis, borate solutions for ICP and as well as perform Peroxide fusions, the LeNeo Fluxer is fully adaptable to all your sample preparation needs.
Epsilon 4 High capacity sample changer
The high capacity sample changer for the Epsilon 4 adds value when high throughput is required and 24 hours a day operation is desired. Load large sample batches at once and run analysis for multiple hours without interference. Make full use your staff capacity and let them perform more valuable tasks, instead of loading and unloading the spectrometer. Enable running large number of samples overnight without having your employees being present in the laboratory to change samples. Let your staff return in the morning, collecting the results and loading a new batch into the sample changer. This reduce additional need for health and safety provisions to allow employees working overnight. The high capacity sample changer is designed for analysis of up to 60 samples without interference. The included touchscreen and computer with intuitive software is set up for quickly load and announce the sample batch.
Determine quality and purity of pharmaceutical products with elemental analysis
The Epsilon 4 is a practical XRF spectromer for identifying elements and inspecting quality in many substances. In this video, Lieven Kempenaers explains why the Epsilon 4 is the perfect XRF solution for determining the quality and purity of pharmaceutical products. Lieven also explains the advantages that Epsilon 4 – an energy-dispersive XRF spectrometer – has over traditional analysis methods, and why this makes it especially suitable for pharmaceutical manufacturing environments.
Meet Lieven, the Product Manager of our Epsilon range
Lieven Kempenaers is the product manager for the Epsilon 1 and Epsilon 4 ranges of bench-top X-ray fluorescence (XRF) spectrometers. He takes great pleasure in working with these products that provide all the benefits of XRF technology in a compact format, opening up the benefits of XRF elemental analysis to a greater range of users.
Epsilon Xline: The X factor for fuel cell production
Epsilon Xline makes real-time materials monitoring and process control in roll-to-roll (R2R) coating processes a breeze. Direct analysis allows continuous optimization of material composition and loading, helping to minimize off-specification production and maximize cost-efficiency.
Meet Chris, the Product Optimization Engineer
Chris Gortemaker is the lead for the team that developed the Epsilon Xline. He’s proud to work on this bespoke energy-dispersive X-ray fluorescence (EDXRF) instrument. Its accuracy and compact format make for great improvements in roll-to-roll processes.
